Is EXCEED Microneedling painful?

Is there any downtime after microneedling?
EXCEED Microneedling has minimal downtime for most clients. Your skin may appear red or feel warm and sensitive immediately after treatment, similar to a mild sunburn. Redness generally settles over the following 24–48 hours, although this can vary depending on your skin and treatment intensity.
How many microneedling treatments will I need?
For optimal results, a series of 3–6 treatments is typically recommended, depending on your skin concerns and goals. Your therapist will assess your skin during your consultation and recommend a personalised treatment plan. Results develop gradually as your skin continues to produce new collagen.
What is the SIMKA mask and is it included?
Yes. Your SIMKA mask is included free with the $379 EXCEED Microneedling treatment. The mask is applied as part of your post-treatment care to help soothe and hydrate your skin after your microneedling treatment.
What is the LIRA Smart Booster PDRN+ add-on?
The LIRA Smart Booster PDRN+ is an optional $89 add-on that can be included with your microneedling treatment. PDRN is used to reduce downtime and enhance results. Your therapist can discuss whether this add-on is great for your skin and treatment goals.
When will I see results?
Your skin begins it's healing process right after your treatment, with improvements potentially being noticed within 24 hours as collagen is gradually produced. Many clients notice changes in skin texture and overall appearance over the following weeks, with even bettter results after performing multiple treatments.
Is microneedling suitable for everyone?
Microneedling isn't suitable for every person or every skin concern. For example if you have rosacea or an impaired barrier - Microneedling is not recommended. Our skin therapist will discuss your skin, medical history and treatment goals during your consultation to determine whether EXCEED Microneedling is appropriate for you and recommend the safest treatment for your skin and goals.
